Animal Friends of Wilmington is a lot more than a pet sitting service. Our goal is to provide the best possible in-home pet care for our furry clients. We strive for excellent customer service by going the extra mile for the animals and your home. We bring in the mail and newspaper, water the plants and make sure your furry family member is safe, happy and comfortable while you are away. We change the lights and turn on the radio or TV to show that someone is in the house. If you are running low on food, we will get it and add it to your bill with a slight delivery charge. No need to worry if you are running short on time- we will take care of it. These are the little things we do but what brings us joy is taking care of your pets.
We are trained in emergency transport care, Animal CPR and basic first aide for animals. We are able to administer subcutaneous IV fluids if your animals need it. A feeding and care schedule for older, more fragile animals is our specialty.
Even if it is scooping kitty litter, listening to the kitties purring, or the warm feeling we get from seeing that wagging tail, letting us know they are so go glad to see us - is what brings us delight. The birds (we take care of birds as well) welcome us with music and they chirp good morning- glad to see you!
Animal Friends provides equine care as well. We feed your horses on your schedule, clean stalls and water troughs to make sure the water is fresh and clean every day.

Dog of the Month
My name is Marley and I am a real sweetheart. I have been homeless for several long months and cannot understand why I keep getting overlooked. I am very easy going and quiet in the house. I get along great with cats and kids, but would prefer to be the only dog. I want an indoor home where I go out only on a leash. Hounds are prone to catching a scent and escaping if left unattended even in a fenced in yard. I am a lap dog even though I weigh around 60 pounds! I love to be petted and to be with you wherever you are. I am house-trained, spayed, current on vaccinations and heartworm negative. Check out these heartmelting, sad eyes. I have been passed around a lot lately and so badly need some stability in my life. Will you love me? Please call Adopt an Angel at 910-392-0557 or visit our Petfinder site at
